Conversas is a series of weekly informal meetings to get to know and discuss projects and interests.

Conversas (conversations in Portuguese) are a series of informal meetings to get to know each other while having a conversation — from ideas to projects, interests, or life stories.
In these evenings, three Conversadores (those who start the conversation) share something for thirty minutes each. The dialogue flows naturally and informally, calling for uncompromised and genuine participation. There is a synergetic atmosphere where sharing knowledge, opinions, and human experience is central.
The entrance is free and open to everyone.
Conversas is a project initiated by Constança Saraiva and Mafalda Fernandes in Lisbon, in 2012. Nowadays, it’s a project of many other people and cities.
Conversas is becoming a more significant worldwide community that wishes to practice open-mindedness locally.

We’ve written a Conversas Manual to share our knowledge on organizing Conversas. We hope that, meanwhile, we can all learn from each other.
If you are interested in organizing Conversas, please read it and contact Constança and Mafalda afterward (conversas.project@gmail.com). They can help you with any questions, add your Conversa to the map of this website and connect you with the rest of the international community.
If you are interested in the project for research purposes, you are also welcome to read the Manual and contact Constança and Mafalda.
This Manual was written to help you set up your Conversas. If you have any suggestions or questions, get in contact with us.
See you in one of the next Conversas!
